Max is obsessed with the great outdoors and it amazes me that he can sit in a patch of grass and pull out the grass and dirt for up to 20 minutes at a time. The kid is ultra-focused and he doesn't get bored! It's so funny to watch. He sits and pulls out grass and dirt and chucks it in to the back of his mini-CAT dump truck. You should see the intense look of determination this boy displays. And this time, I am not exaggerating the amount of time he will sit and do this. I thought 1 year olds didn't have that kind of attention spans? I have a feeling mommy is going to get some reading done this summer!
The air this time of year is quite a spectacular thing. I always forget how powerful it is and what great emotion and feeling it provokes without words. The feeling this time of year is so sensational and everyone you see is feeling it too. The sense of starting a new, warm, sunny days to energize you and clean, refreshing rains and storms to wash all the dirt and Seasonal Affective Disorder away. Simply sensational!
It is pure heaven getting to spend an entire day with Max. I can't say much else compares. There is nothing better than waking up knowing that I get to dedicate most of my day to playing and hanging with my little peanut. And the best part is getting outside and taking in that God-given fresh Spring air!
